Student Announcements

  1. Hunter with Balfour will be back Tuesday Sept 22 during break for Seniors who need to place their invitation orders. Please be sure and bring your $80.00 deposit. Make checks payable to β€œScholastic Products & Awards”
  2. There is a sign up sheet for Boys Soccer in the office until the end of today. Please be sure and sign up before leaving school today if you are interested in playing!
  3. Anyone interested in participating in the MAIS Chess Tournament, there is a sign up sheet in the office.
  4. Students..please remember to bring your mask to school!!
  5. Since we were not able to have our usual Meet the Colts night, we will announce our players and cheerleaders at halftime of a couple of games. We will announce JV football, JV cheer, Pee Wee football,

Pee Wee cheer and softball on Fri Sept 25 at the Varsity FB game vs Magnolia Heights at halftime. We will announce soccer, cross country, Varsity Football & Varsity Cheer on Thursday Oct 1 at the JV football game vs Pillow Academy at halftime.

  1. There is a Technology Help Ticket Button on the Bayou Academy Website. Any technology issues for students or teachers should be directed there. Students!! It is highly recommended that you sign into your Canvas, email, etc BEFORE Distance Learning Day tomorrow! If you have any problems, fill out a ticket!!
  2. Our  Pee Wee and JV football teams will be traveling to Washington School today. Pee Wee will start at 4:30, B team game at 6:00 and A team game at 6:30. Go Colts!! Beat those Generals!!
  3. Our Varsity Football team will be traveling to Heritage Academy tomorrow. Please be sure and take a chair with you if you are going since visitor stands are at 25% capacity. No vouchers are needed. Go Colts!!!
  4. Our Softball Team will be playing Saturday at Clarksdale Lee. Go Lady Colts!!
  5. A lawn service is looking for a dependable, hard working student for some part time work. If you are interested, please let Mrs Dawn or Mr Keith Aycock know.
  6. Students that want to work with K-4 students during their study hall period please see Mrs Hill.
  7. All 8th graders need to report to Coach Melissa Beck’s room at the beginning of break today!
