Calling all Alumni!

Student Announcements

1. There is a sign up sheet for anyone interested in taking Driver’s Ed in the office. You must be 14 by June 1st to sign up.

2. Congratulations to our Baseball team on their win this past Saturday beating Hartfield 6-4! The Baseball team will be traveling to Vicksburg Monday to play St Aloysius at Sports Force Park in Vicksburg. JV will play at 4:00 and Varsity at 6:00! The team will be dismissed at 12:45.  Good Luck to our Colts!!

3. Students must have ALL make up tests done before Spring Break or the zero will become permanent. Students, it is your responsibility to find out if you have a make up test and get it completed!

4. Each Student will be given 4 raffle tickets by their English teacher Tuesday to sell for the 30-30-30 raffle to be held in the month of April.  For $30.00 you will get 30 days with 30 different prizes! Or for $100.00 you can get 4 tickets!  Each day in April a drawing will be held for a new prize every day. Even if you win one day, your name gets put back into the drawing for the other drawings!  A Calendar is attached to the tickets with the fabulous prizes that will be given.  The deadline to return the money is Wed, March 25.

5. If there is any student who is need of Community Service Hours or would just like to volunteer, the Tennis Team is in need of a manager.  You would need to contact Coach John Cox and I have his contact information in the office if you need it.

6. Our Tennis Team kicks off their season Tuesday against St Joe. The matches begin at 3:00 at the Country Club.

7. Students-if any of you will be getting your drivers license or permit over Spring Break, be sure to see Ms. Shellie before school lets out to get your Proof of Attendance Form.

8. Jr’s and Sr’s..please do not forget to see Mrs. Braswell or Mrs. Lawrence about your prom date.

30-30-30

Our 30-30-30 raffle is underway! For $30 you get 30 days with 30 different prizes! Or you can get a STEAL of 4 tickets for $100! This week, students will be bringing home 4 tickets each to sell.  The deadline to return the money is Wednesday, March 25th.  Extra tickets will be in the high school office you'd like more!  Tickets are $30/each.
 
Each day in April, we will draw a name from the raffle for a new prize every day!  
 
Even if you win one day, your name gets put back in the drawing for the other drawings!  You have 30 opportunities to win some pretty awesome prizes!  raffle calendar

Teacher of the Month

Our Teacher of the Month for January 2020 is Ms. Claire Marquis.  Ms. Claire has been at Bayou for many years!  She is always ready to chair a committee, start a new project, or bring new technology to the classrooms.  Her level of enthusiasm is unmatched!  We have all watched her with her new 3D printer like a kid at Christmas!  She is the first one in line to bring new technology to our kids, and we are so grateful to have her hard-working spirit on our team!  Ms. Claire, thank you for your dedication to our school, our students, and our technology.  We are so thankful for what you continually do for our us. We appreciate you and all you do! Congratulations! 🎉💙 One family. One heartbeat. One Bayou Academy. #WeAre1 #BAtotm
