The Bayou Blues is a show choir at Bayou Academy.  The student members perform for school functions, as well as local community events.  During class, the choir members prepare for upcoming performances, and they also work on their singing technique.  The choir’s performances have included a September 11, 2001, memorial service, a Veteran’s Day program, Harvest Festival, a Christmas concert, and a small show at the Cleveland Women’s Club.  The Bayou Blues also provided entertainment for the Ladies of Elegance Awards Banquet in December.
