Experience: Retired in 2000 following 36 year career as
an educator. Taught at Duncan Academy and Bayou Academy in the 70's.
Following retirement worked for the Partnership for a Healthy MS as a teacher
trainer for North MS and taught GED classes for MDCC.
Honors: State President of MS Professional Educators in
2000 and presently serving on the Executive Board. Served as Iota Chapter
President of Delta Kappa Gamma and was chosen as their Woman of Dinstinction.
Named Educator of the Year by Optimist Club.
Enjoys: Being back at Bayou! Also enjoys being with
friends and family, smocking and making children's clothes and cooking.
