Honors and awards: Recognized in the National Art Association as one of the three in MPSEA in Art education, recognized on National level by the Daughters of American Revolution for a Bicent Design, 25 Year Service Award for MPSEA, and Selected as Teacher of the Year (Elementary) 2006
